Graduates of the Faculty of Slovene and International Studies (hereinafter FSMŠ) have many employment opportunities, because knowledge of the origin and development of national identity is one of the foundations for working in civil services and bodies, diplomacy, public administration, culture and science of the nation.
FSMŠ programmes are also practically oriented and as such lead to innovative project development and successful cooperation in various fields. The practical training provides the foundations for operation and development in the field of tourism, cultural heritage, management at the local level, consulting in entrepreneurial activities and in development projects of chambers of commerce and the economy, etc.
Creative, self-initiative and enterprising graduates will be able to reach leading positions at home and abroad with their knowledge of Slovene studies.
After successfully completing the study obligations, the graduate of the study programme obtains the professional title:
- at the 1st cycle: graduate of Slovene studies (UN), abbreviated univ. dipl. slov. štud. (UN),
- at the 2nd cycle: master of Slovene studies, abbreviated mag. slovenoslov.,
- at the 3rd cycle: Doctor of Science, abbreviated dr ..
